Donald Edge, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife Dorothy, on Monday, April 2, 2007, at the age of 78 years, after battling lung cancer. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Donald was born on February 12, 1929 and raised on his parents Bar 50 Ranch. After attending Beaupre Creek School and Cochrane High, he went to Olds Agricultural College, graduating in 1949.Donald spent many years guiding trail rides in the majestic Rocky Mountains, an occupation he dearly loved. When Don and Dorothy married in 1966, he settled down to ranching, raising cattle, horses and bison.
Besides his loving wife, Donald is survived by his brother Norman (Shirley), sister Edith Edge, and brother Frank (Lorraine); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Clem and Peggy Edge, and a sister Margaret.
