John Bryan Foote, beloved husband of Linda Foote of Taber, Alberta, passed away suddenly at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on April 13, 2007 at the age of 58 years.
Bryan was born on October 19, 1948 in Taber, Alberta the youngest child of Charles and Jean Foote. He attended Hudson School, Kinniburgh School and graduated from high school in Taber. Bryan then attended Olds College and obtained a diploma in Agriculture with a major in Animal Science.
He returned from college in 1970, where he farmed with his father and raised his family. He was dedicated to the community spending numerous years actively involved in 4-H, Chin Coulee Gas Co-op and Taber Seed Cleaning Plant. Bryan continued to farm until 2003 when he semi-retired to explore other opportunities.
Bryan's greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He spent many wonderful hours cruising the lake on his boat and enjoying Little Bow Resort. Bryan loved to sketch and work with his hands on carpentry projects and restoring "Old Misery", his '41 Chevy truck. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Bryan is survived by his loving wife Linda; two sons Robb (Lisa) Foote of Missoula Montana, and Brad (Amber) Foote of Pincher Creek, Alberta, and six grandchildren, Brenden, Joshua, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Lindy and Carter, father Charles of Taber, sister Evelyn (Willard) Soltys of Lethbridge, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Jean.
