Bolivian Agricultural Tour – 2012

A 2 week tour of the “State of Agriculture in Bolivia” will be from Feb 18th – March 4th, 2012. This tour will be a large part of a 3 credit course offered as an option for all Olds College students. The course includes recording experiential learning and presentation skills to communicate those experiences. The focus will be on agricultural, from primary production to marketing a value added product.



Students will observe agricultural activities in the mountains, on the grasslands, and in the rainforest. Agriculture always has an impact on the environment. Students will observe what Bolivia is doing to address and minimize the environments consequences from agriculture and development in general



Trip participants will spend some time working on a humanitarian project to promote positive global citizenship practices. The project will be focused at improving the lives of those most in need.
