Password Accounts For Staff
Please note that none of your user accounts are linked together. If you change the password for one account it is not changed for any of the other accounts except for the computer and webmail logins are the same.
Computer Account
All current staff will get a computer account while they are employed at Olds College. You will have access to 500MB (megabytes) of storage space on the network. If you need access to any of the share folders on the S:\ drive than you need to have your program coordinator send an email to Scevraini@oldscollege.ca requesting such access.
Your login will be your first initial and lastname, password will be set to first initial plus lastname. It is recommended that you change your password. You can also change this password from the webmail interface. You will need to login to an Olds College computer to change the password.
Should you find yourself locked out of your computer account than you need to stop by IT and we can reset your password for you. Pass words need to be reset every 3 months. Check here to learn more about passwords, why we have passwords, and why we need to change them.
Webmail
It is now possible to change your computer/webmail password from with webmail. Note: your username and password is the same for your computer and webmail access. Changing one will cause the chage to effect the other.
Blackboard

To setup an account on blackboard or have your password reset, contact your school admin person: Penny Winter, Anne Woods, Joanne Letourneau, or Bonnie Rice.
Library Account
If you would like to take out books from the Olds College Library or NEOS than you need to visit the Library and get a Library Card. The Library staff will then set you up with an account and password. To change or reset the password you will need to come to the Library.

All current students will get a computer account while they are students at Olds College. You will have access to 100MB (megabytes) of storage space on the network.
Your password will be set to your birthday in the MMDDYY format. It is recommended that you change the password as soon as possible. If you forget your password, or get locked out of your account you will need to come to the Library or Information Services with your Olds College ID card to have this fixed.
Note you will not be able to change this password from the webmail interface. You will need to login to an Olds College computer to change the password.

To have your Blackboard account password reset you will need to see your instructor that has set up the course for you to take using Blackboard.
Library Account

Student Marks, Timetables, and Tax Forms
To have your student web access account reset you can go to the Library, Information technology, or Student Services with your Olds College Student ID card.
