Rules - Sort by Name

Sort email from a specific person or email address.

Click on Tools
Click on Rules and Alerts
Click on New Rule
Select a Move messages from someone to a folder
Click on Next
Select from people or distribution list (more than 1 condition can be selected if necessary - later tip)
Click on from people or distribution list (lower box) to select specific people that this rule will look for.
Repeat selecting names as needed. When done click on OK to return to editing the rule.
Click on move to specific folder to select where the email will be moved to
Click on New to create new folder if needed
Click on OK when done creating/select the folder
Click on Next
Select Folder or change folder if needed
Click on Next
Select any exceptions if needed
Click on Next
Give the rule a name
Click Finished

Hot Tip: Although you can setup a rule to delete all the messages that meet a set criteria it is often not a good thing to do. You may not always care about the CampusWideAnnoucement emails there are some important messages that you should not ignore such as power outages, road closures, network
