Learning how to learn is one of the best things a student can do at college. Enhancing your ability to manage time, memorize facts, think critically, organize data, understand concepts, and recall information will contribute greatly to your success at Olds College and your success in your career!

Study skills workshops are held from September to April during the academic year. Please check back in mid-August for the September Workshop Schedule. In the interim, you can book an appointment for an individual consultation on study skills.

The Alberta government has provided the ALIS website with information on career, education and employment. In the section on education, there is a list of learning tips with a variety of topics presented such as: "how to study effectively".
