Land Ethics – A Three Course Series

Professional, Environmental & Corporate Ethics

"Ethics" is a term that is becoming very common these days in land-based and other industries. Register in all or any of this series of 3-week online courses to enhance your ethical decision making, increase your understanding of the standards of ethics in your profession, or develop a code of ethics for your company.

Professional Ethics

Ethics training is now required either to enter a profession or to sustain membership. Regulations of professionals in the workplace is usually based on a code of ethics and there are well defined consequences for code violations. You will increase your ability to apply ethics theory and understand practice standards for land professionals.

Environmental Ethics

Environmental Ethics is fundamentally the ethical relationship between human beings and the environment in which they live. This is huge in the world today, particularly regarding the impact of industrial development on land. Wrong, or bad, conduct on the land will result in serious economic and punitive consequences. Avoid these consequences by determining what your virtues and duties are to ensure right, or good, conduct on the land.

Corporate Ethics

Corporate ethics focuses on conduct including integrity, accountability, social responsibility and compliance within a business organization. Take leadership responsibility, find ways to create a code of ethics for your business, incorporate a common culture of ethical conduct throughout your organization, and communicate your ethical position to clients, regulators and general public.
