Introduction To Foaling
A necessary one day course if you are considering breeding your mare this year.
Learn about the foaling process. This is a great opportunity to learn how to care for your mare in the pre-partum period. Discussion will address:
- signs of impending foaling,
- stages of labour,
- dystocias during foaling,
- care of your mare and foal in early post-partum period
- neonatal problems
- how the mare owner can recognize and work with their vet to solve common problems
This course is theory only.
