Cashmere Classification
Learn about the different classification qualities of cashmere, how to assess and select theappropriate end use for acashmere fleece from a knowledgeable cashmere producer and judge. For both cashmere producers to increase their knowledge in breeding selection and animal husbandry as well as spinners to increase their awareness of cashmere and confidence in selecting a good fleece.

Getting Even
Even experienced spinners find they don’t make smooth, consistent yarns. Learn to choose the best fibre preparations for smooth spinning, and to correct preparations that are not ideal. Tune up your wheel for optimal spinning. Take a fresh look at drafting your spinning techniques to even out your spinning in both worsted and woolen style yarns. Trouble-shoot and correct common spinning errors and get even with your spinning. You should know how to spin a continuous thread on a spinning wheel or spindle.
