Pre-Employment Programs
Pre-employment is for the individual that may not have experience in the field and is not a registered apprentice in the Province of Alberta however, is interested in training in a trade. The 12 Week program follows the 8 week Alberta Apprenticeship guideline and includes an additional four weeks of classroom and hands-on application of technique.
Upon successful completion of the Pre-employment program, students who meet the apprenticeship requirements of the trade are eligible to write the first period apprenticeship exam. (There is a fee to write the exam, payable to Apprenticeship and Industry Training).
