The Land and Water Resources program

The Land and Water Resources program offers you a broad base of training in applied environmental sciences that will prepare you for a career in the conservation, reclamation and management of rural land. Land Management courses will provide you with the tools you need to manage soil, plant and water resources in agricultural and natural ecosystems. Get involved in environmental stewardship, land reclamation and rural land use planning and help to create a sustainable future.

 

The Land Agent program

The Land Agent program provides land management training related to careers in the oil and gas, energy and utilities, environment, government and the newly emerging alternative energy sectors. Through focused hands-on training in classroom, lab and field settings, land agent students learn how to work with landowners to arrive at mutually beneficial solutions to the acquisition of land for well sites, pipeline routes, highways and utility right of ways and alternate energy sites.
