Check the Admission Requirements for your program
Make sure you meet or are currently enrolled in the admission requirements for your program. You can find these in the Academic Calendar and in the Programs of Study at Olds College
Canadian students from outside Alberta may check the Provincial
High School Equivalencies Information
to see how courses from your province correspond to the
required Alberta high school courses.
STEP 2:
Complete an Application for Admission
- Apply online using the ApplyAlberta Online
Application System
OR - Print out and send us a completed Application for Admission Form

STEP 3:
Academic Transcripts
Please click on the statment below that best fits your situation
- Currently in High School or Academic Upgrading in Alberta and you have applied on-line through ApplyAlberta?
- Currently in High School or Academic Upgrading in Alberta and you have applied on a paper application?
- Currently in High School or Academic Upgrading outside of Alberta, and you have applied on-line through ApplyAlberta or on a paper application?
- Completed High School in Alberta and you have applied on-line through ApplyAlberta?
- Completed High School in Alberta and you have applied on a paper application?
- Completed High School outside of Alberta and you have applied on-line through ApplyAlberta or on a paper application?
Currently in High School or Academic Upgrading in Alberta and you have applied on-line through ApplyAlberta?
A transcript of your completed courses within Alberta will be electronically sent to us from Alberta Education (this service is free of charge).
Submit a copy of your timetable or statement of courses that you are enrolled to take this year and any available marks for these courses. This must be from your high school principal/counsellor/administrator.
If you completed any high school courses outside of Alberta, you are required to request a transcript from the appropriate Provincial Organization
When available, your final transcript will be electronically sent to us from Alberta Education.
Currently in High School or Academic Upgrading in Alberta and you have applied on a paper application?
Submit a transcript of your completed courses and a copy of your timetable or statement of courses that you are enrolled to take this year and any available marks for these courses. This must be from your high school principal/counsellor/administrator.
If you completed any high school courses outside of Alberta, you are required to request a transcript from the appropriate Provincial Organization
It is your responsibility to ensure that your final transcript is sent from Alberta Learning to Olds College one month prior to your program start date. You may submit this request now for the appropriate time in the future (this service will cost you $10.00).

Completed High School outside of Alberta and you have applied on-line through ApplyAlberta or on a paper application?
You must request a copy of your high school transcript be sent directly to Olds College. To order your high school transcript, contact the province or territory where you last attended high school.
If you have completed any post secondary courses, in addition to your high school transcript, you must submit your post-secondary transcript. Request a transcript from the institution's Registrar's Office.
