Olds College has a long tradition of students living on campus and believes
so strongly in the value of the experience that we
encourage all students to live in residence during their first year on campus.
There are many lifestyle advantages to staying in residence; you are close to all the amenities and facilities the college offers both academically and socially.
A residence is more than a large building with many bedrooms — Residence is an experience.
- Where else can you have the opportunity to live with many people from many different backgrounds, cultures, life experiences, and beliefs as you will in residence?
- If you allow yourself, you will learn as much from res life as you will in college classes.
There's a lot more to an education than hitting the books and studying!
What prepares students for interaction and relationships within society often takes place outside the classroom.
