The Central Portion of the gardens are nestled between several of the buildings on campus, and are traveled through by staff and students on a daily basis.  These gardens have an intimate feel, encouraging visitors to slow down, stop and smell the flowers!

 The East Portion of the gardens offers a contrasting experience.  The site is much larger, with an open and expansive feel.  To get a feel for their scale, click here to see a Youtube video of aerial footage shot by one of the College's instructors using a remote-controlled plane. Garden Profiles

The Olds College Botanic Gardens and Treatment Wetlands consist of two main garden areas - the Central portion, established in 2002, and home to 20-plus specialty gardens and the East portion which is the newest phase and home to the Treatment Wetlands.  Click the images below to learn more about each of the garden areas.
