What's Blooming

Celebrating Canada's 150th Anniversary!

We've done our best to bring a touch of red and white to the gardens!  Check out select beds, and containers at the entrances to the Campus, Land Sciences Building, and to the Wetlands to see our take on Canada's colours.  Red can be found in many other beds and containers, but contrasting with dark leaved foliage, chartreuse and yellow for a punch of impact!

Annuals in the beds are labelled.  Stay tuned for recipes for the planters to be placed, and a pdf listing of all the container plants here - coming soon!  ( To see the recipes from last season, click here. )

The Central portion of the Botanic Gardens is open year-round, and as of April 23rd the East portion of the gardens that house the Wetlands, are open for the season, dawn until dusk.
