COVID-19 Updates: FULL DETAILS

Convocation **Postponed

As part of Olds College’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and as a result of the restrictions placed on large gatherings by the Government of Alberta, we have made the decision to postpone our spring convocation ceremony that was originally scheduled for June 6, 2020. We look forward to celebrating your significant achievements in June 2021. More information will be shared about the event once it is available.

If you have qualified to do so, you will still graduate from your program at the end of this semester. See the Graduation Requirements page for more information.

Convocation Photography

For the comfort and viewing of all attending, we ask guests to remain in their seats and not walk to the stage to take photos. We have a professional photographer who will be taking photos of each convocate as they cross the stage and shake hands with the president. Courtesy of the Students' Association of Olds College, each convocate will be able to download one high resolution photo. The photo will be ready to view approximately one week after Convocation.

Convocation Flowers

The Olds College Campus Store will have items available for purchase to help commemorate this special occasion. Fresh flowers will also be available for purchase at the Convocation ceremonies and are available now for pre-order online at: www.convocationflowers.com/olds

Indigenous Convocation Ceremony

Details to be announced.

Please note: The convocation ceremony is a public event that may be recorded and broadcast.
