Location: Ralph Klein Centre Gymnasium

Convocation is a special time for all of us. It is a time of celebration of accomplishments and achievements. It is a time to recognize all of the hard work, dedication and commitment that Olds College students have put into achieving their goals. The ceremony will run for approximately 2 hours and we request that all convocates and guests remain for the duration of the ceremony

All participating students must be at the Ralph Klein Centre by 1:00pm in order to prepare for the ceremony.

Seating / Live Feed

Please note that the Convocation Ceremony is rush seating and there is no need to purchase tickets. Due to the popularity of this event, it is strongly suggested that you limit the number of guests to 3-4. Should we reach seating capacity, there will be a standing room only opportunity to view the ceremony in the foyer on overhead screens. As well, there will be a live feed for family and friends who cannot attend. The live feed will be posted on this page and on the Olds College YouTube Channel as the event approaches.

Convocation Photography

For the comfort and viewing of all attending, we ask guests to remain in their seats and not walk to the stage to take photos. We have a professional photographer who will be taking photos of each convocate as they cross the stage and shake hands with the president. Courtesy of the Students' Association of Olds College, each convocate will be able to download one high resolution photo. The photo will be ready to view approximately one week after Convocation.

We have a Convocation App!

Visit the Convocation Guidebook to access the Olds College space, and then you can pick the Olds College Convocation event “guide”. It has a lot of helpful information for you and your family & friends who will be attending the Convocation Ceremony.
