Registration: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Sessions: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
Pick-Up: 2:45 p.m.

Olds College Broncos

Olds College student athletes compete at the highest level in the provincial Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) and national Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) leagues. We have teams in men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, soccer, futsal, badminton, curling and women’s hockey. Olds College is also home to a well-recognized rodeo program. Our varsity rodeo athletes compete in the Canadian Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (CIRA). Whether you’re playing in the game or cheering from the stands, all our students can enjoy the thrill of sports.

Scholarships & Awards

Olds College offers over 400 awards, valued at over $450,000 in scholarships, bursaries and prizes. We are very grateful to our many award donors for their generous support of our students! There are three disbursements of student awards at Olds College:

  1. Fall Scholarships, Bursaries & Prizes: awarded in December
  2. Winter Scholarships, Bursaries & Prizes: awarded in March
  3. Graduation Scholarships, Bursaries & Prizes: distributed after final grades are tabulated

Student Funding

There are many options to help you fund your education. Our Financial Aid Officer on campus will be more than happy to assist you prepare student loan documentation, provide confirmation of enrolment to release RESP's or obtain private loans, and help you find funding.

Full Time Funding

Government student loans are interest-free while you are in school, and you don't have to start paying back the loan until six months after your full-time enrolment ends. When you submit an application for a full-time government student loan, you will automatically be assessed for the grants and bursaries offered by the federal and provincial governments as part of the student loans program.

Part-Time Funding

Government student loans are based on your assessed financial need. Qualified part-time students in Canada could get up to $10,000 in federal loans. In addition, part-time student grants are also available. Your eligibility for grants is assessed automatically when you apply and qualify for student financial assistance through your province or territory of residence.
