The Learning Services Team is seeking a self-motivated, adaptable and highly detailed team member to fill the Educational and Program Support role. This full-time, permanent role at the Olds Campus will operate as a supporting role for Comprehensive Program Reviews, course edits, and Moodle support. This position requires a self motivated individual with an ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize effectively with a high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. The Educational and Program Support role also requires an individual that will demonstrate excellent communication skills when working with our clients.

Key Job Functions:

  • Provide clerical support to the Manager, Academic Program Development
  • Assist other members of the Learning Services team in providing LMS support to staff, instructors, and students as needed.
  • Assist other members of the Learning Services team in providing course development and editing services to staff and instructors.
  • Providing technical support and performing other duties as assigned.
  • The ability to work independently and within a creative team environment.

A minimum of one to two years of experience working in an office environment would be a benefit. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. The Educational and Program Support person must be able to maintain organization and efficiency while maintaining a keen eye for detail. Computer proficiency in InDesign, Google, Moodle, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint are a must and knowledge of copyright principles and regulations in curriculum and education would be an asset. Work is often reliant on the team and connections made, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed, as is resourcefulness, flexibility, dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a broad range of given tasks.
