What is an Affinity Partnership?

An Affinity Partnership is an agreement between Olds College and targeted partner organizations. An Affinity Partnership gives incentives for our over 15,000 alumni to use your organization or business.

Members of the Olds College Alumni Association are eligible to take advantage of our Affinity Partnerships. All alumni, staff, and students of Olds College are considered alumni. The Alumni Affinity card is issued annually through Olds College Horizons magazine.

Market Affinity Partnership ($10,000 Annually)

The Market Affinity Partnership is best suited for businesses with multiple locations who wish to have exposure to our students, staff and alumni. Card carrying alumni would receive your company’s offer.

The Market Affinity Partnership includes a commitment of $10,000 per year for a minimum of three years. A review will be conducted annually to ensure the partnership is mutually beneficial.

50% of the funds can be allocated to our annual events or athletics departments for further exposure and signage.*

Market Partners gain official access to our staff and students via:

• Advertisement in the Olds College “Horizons” magazine
• Email campaign to be launched on behalf of sponsor to Olds College Alumni
• Insertion of the Affinity Member discount Card into all student orientation packages
• Insertion of the Affinity Member discount Card into the Olds College Horizons Magazine (distribution to 15,000 alumni)
• Advertisement in our student magazine “Grassroots” once per year
• Booth space at our student orientation fair
• Affinity member window sticker for your patrons to identify your partnership with Olds College
• Recognition as a Gold Event Sponsor at an Olds College event
  • Four sponsor tickets to the event
  • Your company logo displayed prominently at the event
  • Logo recognition at event entry point
  • Quarter page program acknowledgment
  • Post-event Olds College social and print media recognition

Best Business Affinity Partnership ($5,000 Annually)

The Best Business Affinity Partnership is suitable for businesses with multiple locations who wish to have exposure to our students, staff and alumni. Card carrying alumni would receive your company’s offer.

The Best Business Affinity Partnership includes a commitment of $5,000 per year for a minimum of three years. A review conducted annually to ensure partnership is mutually beneficial.

• Insertion of the Affinity Member Discount Card into all student orientation packages
• Insertion of the Affinity Member Discount Card into the Olds College Horizons Magazine (distribution to 15,000 alumni)

• Affinity member window sticker for your patrons to identify your partnership with Olds College
• Recognition as a Silver Event Sponsor at an Olds College event

Business Affinity Partnership ($2500 Annually)

The Business Affinity Partnership is best suited for businesses who have one retail location wish to have exposure to our students, staff and alumni. Card carrying alumni would receive your company’s offer.

The Market Affinity Partnership includes a commitment of $2,500 per year for a minimum of three years, with 20% of the commitment being Gift in Kind sponsorship. A review will be conducted annually to ensure the partnership is mutually beneficial.

50% of the funds can be allocated to our annual events or athletics departments for further exposure and signage.*

Business Affinity Partners gain official access to our staff and students via:

• Insertion of the Affinity Member Discount Card into all student orientation packages.
• Insertion of the Affinity Member Discount Card into the Olds College Horizons magazine (distribution to 15,000 alumni)
• Recognition as a Bronze Event Sponsor at an Olds College event
  • Individual logo recognition at sponsored event
  • Group recognition on sponsorship signage
  • Logo recognition on multimedia presentation during reception and banquet when applicable
  • Small logo recognition in event program
  • Logo recognition on Olds College website
  • Acknowledgment at reception and banquet

Local Business Affinity Partnership ($1200 Annually)

The Local Business Affinity Partnership is suited for businesses that have one retail location and wish to have exposure to our students, staff and alumni. Card carrying alumni would receive your company’s offer.

The Market Affinity Partnership includes a commitment of $1200, divided between 50% cash and 50% Gift in Kind sponsorship. An annual review shall be conducted to ensure the partnership is meeting the desired outcomes.

Local Business Affinity Partners gain official access to our staff and students via:

• Insertion of the Affinity Member Discount Card into all student orientation packages
• Insertion of the Affinity Member Discount Card into the Olds College Horizons Magazine (distribution to 15,000 alumni)
