Do you want a career in business that ensures you can perform as a professional? The Business Management certificate will develop your fundamental business skills and enable you to pursue career opportunities created by your own entrepreneurial abilities. Our curriculum is accredited by the Canadian Institute of Management (CIM), and Certified Professional Accountants of Alberta (CPA). We have integrated the learning stream so you can take this certificate as a stand-alone program, or count it as year one toward a Business Administration Diploma.

Program Description

This one year certificate covers the same comprehensive range of business fundamentals that you would find in a first year degree program. You will develop business management, marketing, and accounting skills. You will be taught micro and macroeconomic fundamentals along with accounting and finance concepts. You will learn the self-management and formal communication skills needed in a professional role. The Business Management Certificate teaches you how to manage resources (people, money, time and materials) and to reach organizational goals in today’s technologically complex and competitive environment.
