Horticulture

A booming Canadian industry, students explore the production and management of plants, pests, landscapes, soils and water systems to achieve productive and sustainable growing systems. As a graduate, you will apply your knowledge and skills in the areas of horticulture crops, sustainability, water management, urban agriculture and landscape design, construction and maintenance.

Olds College’s innovative Turfgrass and Golf Course Management program is structured as a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Golf Course Management, with two exit points where a student can earn a Turfgrass Management Certificate or Diploma before completing the entire program.
