University/College Transfer Options

Transfers can be completed on a course by course basis or a program by program basis. When admitted into an Olds College Government approved program, all students with previous post-secondary educational experience will be assessed for course by course transfer credit.

If you have questions regarding transfer credit, please contact us. Please be aware that at this time, Olds College is unable to provide transfer assessments at an inquiry level. Olds College has developed transfer agreements with other educational institutions, allowing for a smoother transition for Olds College graduates or graduates from other institutions.

It is always recommended to communicate directly with the institution you plan on attending to confirm transfer agreement information.

If you are planning to attend an institution other than those with whom Olds College has an identified transfer agreement, you should contact the institution you wish to transfer to as early as possible to discuss admission requirements, transfer credit and course planning. Please be aware that you are responsible for ensuring that your registration is complete and appropriate and that your course choices comply with the transfer program to which you intend to apply.  Acceptance into an Olds College program does not guarantee admittance into a university transfer program.
