What is the fee?

Tuition for College Success Skills Week 2017 (Course Number CSS6000) is $79.00. Additional fees may apply, including rent and/or meal plan for those staying in Residence.

How do I register?

Students must register online.

Are there any additional payment options?

Please visit our Easy Payment Options web page to learn about different payment options. 

Is there a deadline for registration?

Registrations are accepted until midnightAugust 21st, 2017. Register early to ensure a seat in the program. Late registrations may be accepted in special circumstances pending seat availability However, room(s) in Centennial Village residence may not be available for late registrants. Acquiring a seat in the program does not guarantee a room in residence.

Can I stay in Residence during College Success Skills Week 2017?

If you have been accepted to live in Residence, you may move directly into your assigned room and stay during CSS.  If you have not applied to live in Residence and would like to, please do so early.  Acquiring a seat in the College Success Skills does not guarantee a room in Residence, so take action early.  If you have any questions about Residence, please call (587) 796-1796 or go to

Can I move in early?

Students attending College Success Skills Week, who have been accepted into Residence, can move in on Sunday, August 27 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Check-ins will be taking place in Centennial Village.

How do I arrange for meals?

The College Success Skills BBQ meal, held on Monday of College Success Skills Week is provided by Olds College, but all other meals are the student’s responsibility.

  • If you will be living in Residence in Centennial Village, your meal plan will be arranged when you arrive and you will be able to eat in the cafeteria during the CSS Week.
  • If you plan to live off Campus, but still want meal service during College Success Skills Week, please contact The Office of the Registrar at 1-800-661-6537403-556-8281, or email for further information.

Will I receive notices about College Success Skills?

You will receive a Reminder Notices via email in early August and again the week before College Success Skills starts. The emails will include information to ensure you arrive on time at the right location.

When will I get my Timetable/Schedule?

Students will receive their Timetable for College Success Skills Week on Monday morning at 9:00 am.

Do I have to purchase textbooks or learning materials?

Textbook purchase is not required. All learning materials for College Success are supplied. Students should bring note-taking and study supplies (paper, binder, etc.) and an iPAD, if it is a requirement for their program.
