Olds College Announces New Vice President of Development

Olds College is pleased to announce Patrick Machacek has been selected as the new Vice President, Development. As the College’s senior representative responsible for fundraising and government relations, Patrick will oversee the Olds College $40 million dollar Beyond Campaign.

Vice President of Development - Patrick Machacek“I am delighted that Patrick Machacek has accepted the role of Vice President, Development,” said Stuart Cullum, Olds College President. “As Olds College continues to advance, the success of our $40 million dollar capital campaign, Beyond, is key. I believe that Patrick will do a great job leading this campaign to a successful finish that will see world-class facilities, programming and partnerships created for the benefit of our students.

Most recently, Machacek served as Vice President, Major Gifts at the University Hospital Foundation. He has lead successful fundraising campaigns at both NAIT and Norquest College, and brings over 23 years of fund development experience to the role.

Patrick holds a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Lethbridge. He will begin his new role at Olds College on November 6.
