    Fibre Enthusiasts Gather! Our Fibre Week event in June has something for everyone. Check out our short workshops, fleece shows, merchant mall, evening activities, and our famed Master Spinner and Master Weaver programs.
  • Master Weaver
    The Master Weaver Program is consists of five progressive levels of classroom and independent study involving skill development, research studies and project assignments.
  • Master Spinner
    The Master Spinner Program consists of six levels of classroom and independent study involving skill development, research studies and project assignments in the area of hand spinning of all major types of fibres, yarns and the end use of the spun yarns.
  • Fleece Shows
    The shows are judged in a public format to provide an educational opportunity with a variety of animal fibres for Fibre Week registrants as well as the general public.

Vendor Registration Information

Interested in becoming a vendor at Fibre Week?  Below is a list of information you need to determine if our event is for you.  If you're interested in registering for 2017, please be sure to call or place yourself on a waitlist by signing up via the link at the top right hand corner of this page.  While the show is currently sold out, we are exploring options for expansion.

Registration & Fees

Vendor Sponsors in the Silver category and above will have a space reserved for them and will be asked to confirm by April 1. Other vendors must register by phoning our registration line, or using the link at the top right hand corner of the page.  Sign up now to be on the waitlist!

Registration is $200 + GST per booth

Location

The Merchant Mall this year is located in the W.J Elliot Building (or the Trades Building. Around campus staff may also refer to this as the “Ag Mech” building). Building #10 on the Olds College Campus Map.

Everyone is welcome to drop by and take a look at the many vendors that have come out for this event.

Booth Size 

Booth Size is 10' x 8'.  Multiple booths can be purchased for additional space.  Each booth comes with up to 2 large rectangular tables at the request of the vendor upon registration.  Please note, no half-booths or alternate tables are available.

Merchant Mall Open:

Friday, June 17:   Noon-6pm

Saturday - Monday, Jun 18 - 20: 10am – 6pm

Mon, June 20, 6pm-9pm

Tues, June 21, 8:30am–12pm

Security

The Organizers will make every effort to ensure that there is a person present during mall hours to assist with security. Please bring cloths to cover your booth when you leave it unattended.
