At a young age, I was always fascinated to see how life can start from a seed or an egg. This led to my interest in Agriculture. The current pandemic underscores the importance of this industry to our society. Everybody felt the real value of our farmers when we went to lockdowns. We also saw the urgent need for food security, food waste reduction and the need for more sustainable solutions for our environmental problems."

“I believe agriculture is the backbone of a country's economy, it feeds the world and provides essential resources. The farming lifestyle runs in my family and is very appealing. With the skills I have learned through Olds College and the UFA pitch workshops, the possibilities are endless. In the future I plan on having a homestead with my wife and creating a business that will offer solutions to farmers.”
