‘Crushing It’: Introducing the 8th Annual International Women’s Day Brew

IWD 2023 Group

The eighth annual International Women's Day Brew has been unveiled by the Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management diploma program's first and second year students. The limited edition beer, aptly named 'Crushing It,' is a sessional cold IPA with an abundance of hop flavor, using Yakima Chief Pink Boots Blend.

This beer supports women in the brewing industry by providing a scholarship at Olds College of Agriculture & Technology. The brew features tropical fruity, herbal, and woody notes, making it a unique and refreshing beverage to enjoy.

In addition to supporting the education of women in brewing, a portion of the profits from the sale of 'Crushing It' will be donated to Pink Boots Society. This organization works towards empowering women and non-binary individuals in the beer industry by providing educational opportunities, scholarships and peer support.
