Online Resources

  • Your NEOS barcode is found on your student ID. neos-id-barcode.jpeg
  • At the beginning of term you will receive an automated email from the Library (check your Olds College email account!). This email contains your PIN number. If you can't find the email or forget your PIN you can have one automatically sent to your email from NEOS, just fill out the online form.
  • Using your NEOS account, you can renew your books online. However, if your books are already overdue, renewing books online will not work.

Log in to your NEOS account. Enter the 13 digit barcode number which appears on your student ID card.

Enter your 4 digit PIN that was emailed to your Olds College gmail account at the beginning of the school year. If you don't know what your PIN is, you can click on the "What is my pin?" link and follow the steps.

Once you successfully login you can see a list of all items you currently have checked out, their due date, and an option to renew them.

    • You can place holds on books currently signed out, or request books from other NEOS libraries.
    • Search for and find the item your want to place a hold on
    • In the item record screen choose “Place Hold”.
    • You will then be prompted to enter your 13 digit ID number from your student ID card and PIN number.
    • The system will also ask you to select from the drop down list, the Library where you want to pick up the item. Select the library that you would like to pick up the item from. .
    • A confirmation will appear and you will be contacted by email when the item arrives.request-a-book.jpeg
