What can you expect from this program/course?

This program is for beginners and for welders who would like more hands on practice. This course will cover the theory, techniques and shop practice of oxyacetylene welding of mild steel brazing, flame cutting, arc welding and MIG welding.

Credentials: Non-credit

Program Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays, (10 evenings) @ 6 pm - 9 pm (CRN# N11592)

  • Intake 1 March 25- April 5, 2019
  • Intake 2 April 1- April 12, 2019

Length of Program: 30 hours

Delivery Method: Olds Campus

Applications Deadline: 1-week prior to class start, Please register early as spaces are limited.

Costs: $499 + GST

Prerequisites: Some welding experience would be an asset but is not required.

Ages 14 & 15 can enrol along with a parent who has some welding experience.
Age 16+ can enrol without a parent.
