College Courts Townhouses

There are currently 180 townhouse rooms available in College Courts. Each townhouse features four private bedrooms, two shared bathrooms, common kitchen and living area.

Townhouses are furnished with a stove, fridge, freezer, living room furniture, kitchen table and chairs. Each bedroom has a bed, desk, chair, closet and bookshelf. Cable is an extra cost and will be a contract set up between O-Net and the student.

Townhouse Residence Fees include a $200 per term Flex Pass to on-campus Chartwells locations.
Townhouse residents may also choose to opt into a meal plan.

Laundry Access

Laundry facilities are found within the College courts and throughout Centennial Village. All of our laundry facilities utilize a smartcard system with an onsite loading terminal in CV. Students will receive a reloadable laundry card when they arrive and can load their card with an amount of their choice. Interac Debit or Credit Cards accepted. Lost cards must be replaced at the cost of the student, and can be done at the front desk in CV.

College Courts Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most of the College Court townhouses have double beds. Our renovated units have twin beds.

    Note: Some of the mattresses are longer, so it might be best to bring unfitted sheets.

  • All Move-ins are scheduled for the Sunday prior to your course start date. *Please note: Move-ins cannot accommodated on Saturdays as the office is closed.

  • Students will be responsible to bring their own linens (sheets, pillows, and blankets), towels, shower mats, waste baskets & laundry hamper. Note: Shower curtain is provided.

    Tip! Canvas or plastic cube storage bins fit perfectly in the closet shelving & are handy storage for clothing or other items!

    A starter cleaning kit will be provided to each house(eg: broom, dust pan, cleaning cloths, window cleaner, bathroom cleaners, shower squeegee, swiffer-type wet mop, garbage bags). Students can also sign out and receive additional single-use cleaning kit items at our front desk free of charge.

    Free locker space is available to store items which may endure heavy debris such as work boots, coveralls etc in our bootroom (Residence Services will supply the lock).

    Other items that may make your stay more comfortable include your personal electronics, headphones, hangers, and power bars.

  • Yes! Make your space feel like yours by adding a throw rug, poster, photos or other temporary decor.

    A minimal amount of finishing nail holes are okay, but 3M hanging strips are not allowed. No painting or permanent changes may be made to the room.

    Furniture is affixed to the wall and may not be moved. You can bring a mini fridge or microwave if they meet these requirements:

    Fridges must be newer than 5 years old and use no more than 3.5 amps.

    Microwaves must be under 700 watts and use no more than 6 amps.

  • Yes! There is a bike rack at the south end of the building where students can lock their bikes for free at their own risk (students must provide their own lock).
  • Weapons are strictly prohibited; candles, incense or any other items that are flammable are also not allowed.

    Other banned items include bulk alcohol (ie., kegs, texas mickey’s, pony kegs, etc.).

    Decor that may be offensive, lacking in diversity or inclusion will not be tolerated (ie. swastikas, confederate flag, pornography).

  • Fish in a tank under 3L are allowed, but other animals are not allowed.
  • Emails containing information including move-in dates and details will be sent to students prior to move-in.

  • When applying online, please note if you prefer a quiet living area. Our placement team will do our best to accommodate your request.  We also have areas designated for mature students.
  • When applying online we are happy to offer an opportunity to request housing roommates through the housing portal. Please inquire with our office for further assistance on this process.
  • Fees are payable each semester and are due at the same time as your tuition fees.  Please refer to the Tuition and Fee Schedule for your fee payment deadline. While you are encouraged to pay for the full semester, fee payment agreements can be arranged through Olds College. A $150 fee is applicable for payment plans.

  • Yes, Complete a Residence Application making sure to indicate the dates of your course.
  • There are over 80 security cameras in and around Centennial Village and College Courts. Access to townhouses and student rooms are secured by personalized key access and campus security does rounds in and around residence buildings.
  • There is no curfew, students can come and go as you please, however quiet hours are from 10pm – 8am Sunday through Thursday and 12pm – 8am on Friday, Saturday. So if you are coming home late please be respectful of your neighbors.
  • You are permitted to have a visitor stay in your room. A guest may not stay more than three consecutive nights in a row and to a maximum of 4 nights per month. This is subject to change.
