Home of the National Meat Training Centre

The new National Meat Training Centre will further enhance the capacity to provide skill and expertise to the meat industry. The new centre has an expanded retail store to allow the public to taste the skill and innovation of this program. The Olds College Retail Meat Store sells products created by the students of our renowned Meat Processing Certificate program. As a social enterprise, the Olds College Retail Meat Store is driven to create enough profit to fund our Meat Processing Certificate program.

We’re proud to be featured in a new case study by Sony, showcasing how Sony’s advanced AV technology is transforming the way we teach, learn and collaborate.

With Sony Pro BRAVIA displays, SRG-X400 cameras and VPL-FHZ80 projectors, our students and faculty benefit from crystal-clear visuals, flexible remote participation and enhanced surgical and procedural observation — all in real time and high definition.

A huge thank you to Applied Electronics Ltd. and our IT team for making this vision a reality.
