Your Voice

At Olds College, student feedback is incredibly valuable and helps to shape your school. You might think that spending 15 minutes or 45 minutes on a survey, is a waste of time. However, did you know that input from recent surveys has helped to inform the following decisions?

  • Increased availability of health & wellness services
  • Improved Olds College website and marketing materials
  • Options for residence and meal plan

This year, you’ll have four primary opportunities to provide feedback (in November, January, February and March). Below, we’ve provided the name of the survey, approximate date of the survey, and the purpose for how it will be used. Note:

  • Instructions (and incentives/contests!) will be sent to your student email address;
  • Not all students will be invited to complete every survey.
  • Collected information is confidential.

Marketing Survey (November 2018 - New Students)

Every two years we engage with students to learn why they chose Olds College and how we may improve our marketing and customer service throughout the admission process. This survey should take about 15 minutes.

Canadian University Survey Consortium (January 2019 - Specific Students)

Conducted every 3 years, the National College Health Assessment (NCHA) helps Olds College learn about student health habits, behaviours, and perception related to Alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use; Sexual health; Weight, nutrition, and exercise, Mental health, Personal safety and violence, and Student Satisfaction Survey. Expect a 30 minute completion time.
