21 Day Saxony School

Every day of your trip is made up of a combination of volunteering or building activities, unique cultural experiences, language instruction and social entrepreneurship strategy modules.

Highlights Include:

  • Explore Dresden: Dresden is the capital of the eastern German state, Saxony. Dresden is celebrated for its art museums and the classic architecture of its reconstructed old town.

  • Meet Community Mobilizers: This is an interactive opportunity to ask questions related to economic opportunities in the region, as well as alternative income projects in Saxony and their impact.

  • Industry Visits: Visit local co-ops where employees are visually or hearing impaired. This is an innovative social enterprise that serves a historically marginalized population – experience an alternative income project firsthand!
  • Meeting with Community Women’s Group:
    Spend an afternoon getting to know local women participating in a women’s group as part of an innovative initiative to improve the lives of people in their community– ask them questions and learn more about what kind of impacts the group has had.

  • Visit Technology Based Industries with Socially and Environmentally Engaged Projects
