Applying to Olds College is easy! Once you have decided that Olds College is the right place for you, just follow the steps below to become an Olds College student!

  3. Apply online or through the admissions department
  4. Submit your high school transcript and any post-secondary transcripts
  5. Submit documentation to show that you meet the English Language Proficiency requirement

2. Meet Admission Requirements to Program of Study

Applicants should review the program admission requirements carefully and ensure they have or will meet them before submitting an application. If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office.


3. Apply

The easiest and most recommended way to apply for admission to an Olds College program is to Apply Online. You may also apply directly to the Olds College Admissions Department. In order to do this, you will need to download and complete the Application for Admission form. An application fee of $157.50 CAN is required.

After you have completed the Application for Admission form, you will need to make electronic copies of your proof of English Language Proficiency, if applicable, as well as copies of all high school and post-secondary transcripts. Create a file including these documents and email the file to admit@oldscollege.ca. In the subject of the message you should specify the name of the program you are applying to. After your application package has been received, the Admissions department will make a decision, and will send you a reply within the following 3-4 weeks.


4. Transcript Assessment

Transcript assessment will be done by the Olds College Admissions Office. All submitted high school and post-secondary transcripts must be translated into English (if applicable) and a notarized copy must be submitted.


5. English Language Proficiency

Olds College classes are instructed in English. Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate they have completed at least three years of academic study conducted completely in the English language. 

Any applicant who does not meet this requirement must demonstrate language proficiency through successful completion of a recognized English language assessment test dated within two years of submitting an application to Olds College. Learn More
