Open House 2019

Interested in coming to Olds College but want to learn more? Then coming to Open House is a must! You will be able to participate in numerous program sessions & activities, take a comprehensive tour of the campus, meet with faculty & current students, and even apply for FREE! This interactive campus event will offer you a great opportunity to explore all that Olds College has to offer and includes complimentary lunch & parking.

  • Olds College Main Campus (Olds) - October 18, 2019 from 10:00am - 3:00pm
  • Fashion Institute by Olds College - October 19, 2019 from 10:00am - 2:00pm

Registration for the 2019 Open House will be available in September 2019.


Preview Days  (February - April)

Each day includes a guided campus tour, complimentary lunch & parking, program information sessions with staff and faculty and the opportunity to hear from current students. You can also apply for FREE! These informative campus visits typically run from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Equine Preview Day - January 31, 2020

  • Includes: Equine Science, Equine Reproduction Technician, Farrier Science, Exercise Rider & Jockey Training, Race Horse Groom Training

Animal Science Preview Day - February 7, 2020

  • Includes: Animal Health Technology, Veterinary Medical Receptionist, Veterinary Technical Assistant

Business, Hospitality & Brew Preview Day - February 21, 2020

  • Includes: Business Management, Brewmaster & Brewery Operations Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Sports Management

Fashion Preview Day - March 5, 2020 at the Fashion Institute (Calgary Campus)

  • Includes: Apparel Technology - Fashion Apparel Major or Costume Cutting & Construction Major

Agriculture & Trades Preview Day - March 20, 2020

  • Includes: Precision Agriculture - Techgronomy, Agricultural Management, Agriculture Integration Technology, Ag & Heavy Certificate, Agriculture Equipment Technician Apprenticeship, Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship, Landscape Horticulturist Apprenticeship, Welder Apprenticeship, Pre-Employment Programs (Heavy Equipment, Motorcycle, Welder)

Horticulture & Land Preview Day - April 3, 2020

  • Includes: Arboriculture Technician, Horticulture Technologist, Land & Water Resources, Surface Land Management, Turfgrass Management

Campus Tours 

Guided campus tours are available each week to showcase facilities, provide program information and answer your questions. If you would like to come for a tour of the Olds College campus, we are offering guided tours Monday to Friday. Counsellor Retreat 2020

June 2020 - Dates TBD

Thank you to everyone who joined us in 2019 for this new professional development opportunity for teachers, counsellors and career practitioners in a unique world-class education environment. This annual event is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the new and exciting things happening at Olds College, while also participating in meaningful discussions, networking and professional development. 

Registration for the 2020 Counsellor Retreat will be available in March 2020.

Group Tours

Book your school or class for a visit customized to your groups needs. Visit opportunities are available Monday to Friday between 8:30 am - 3:00 pm and each tour typically lasts about an hour and a half with staff available to answer any questions you may have. The day may also include a presentation about Olds College, a Scavenger Hunt with prizes, etc, so contact us to arrange your visit today!
