Peter began his career as an Agriculture Equipment Technician apprentice at a John Deere dealership in Saskatchewan, earning his Red Seal Journeyperson certificate before gaining experience with Kubota in Red Deer. He then taught Ag Tech at Saskatchewan Polytechnic for four years before returning to Alberta, where he worked at a Freightliner dealership.
Peter challenged Level 1 and went on to Red Deer Polytechnic to become a multi-ticketed Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson. Most recently, he spent about two years working as a mechanic at a mine in British Columbia before joining Olds College in August 2026. Peter brings a breadth and depth of knowledge that can only be earned through years of dedication and hard work, which he is excited to share with the trades students of Olds College.
