The Integrated Crop Management for Cannabis Badge will help students gain competence in understanding the implications of unmanaged plant stress on Cannabis plant performance and yield.  In addition, students will differentiate between the positive and negative attributes that are associated with chemical versus biological pest management.

This badge includes the following microcredentials:

Cannabis Plant Stress

In this microcredential, students will examine the various biological and non-biological stressors that impact the performance of Cannabis in the growing space.

Chemical Pesticides and Cannabis

Students will describe the rationale behind the continued but restricted use of chemical pesticides in the cultivation of Cannabis.  Students will also review the criteria that are associated with residue testing and their impacts on yield and harvested product quality.

Biological Pest Methods for Cannabis

Students will appraise the benefits, drawbacks and utility associated with the implementation of a biological pest management program in Cannabis production.
