 Important payment details:

  • Deposit of $850 per person is required on or before May 1, 2026
  • Second deposit of $850 per person is required on or before July 31, 2026
  • Final Payment required on or before Sept 11, 2026
If this trip is funded through an agricultural business, such as a family farm or other operation, a portion of the cost may qualify as a tax-deductible expense. All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

Trip Itinerary

  • Calgary → Amsterdam

    • Depart Calgary International Airport (YYC) on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
    • Departure: 3:40 p.m. MST
    • Travel Time: 8 hours 45 minutes
    • Overnight international flight
  • Amsterdam → Münster

    • Arrival at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) at 8:25 a.m.
    • 9:15 a.m. – Transfer to Münster, Germany (approx. 4 hours)
    • 1 p.m. – Lunch stop en route
    • 3 p.m. – Hotel check-in & free time
  • Münster → Bremen

    • 8:30 a.m. Depart for Hemme Milch Dairy Farm Hemme Milch tour includes a tasting & light lunch
    • Transfer to Bremen
    • Hotel check-in
    • 6:30 p.m. – Group dinner in the hostel & free evening
  • Bremen

    • 10 a.m. – Guided walking tour of Bremen’s old historic quarter and free time to explore beautiful Bremen.
    • 2 p.m. Beck’s Brewery Tour & Tasting
    • Free evening
  • Bremen → Celle → Bergen-Belsen → Wolfsburg (B, D)

    • 7 a.m. – Breakfast
    • 7:30 a.m. – Depart for Celle
    • 9 a.m. – Tour of Celle State Stud
    • 1 p.m. – Lunch stop
    • 2 p.m. – Visit to Bergen-Belsen Memorial
    • Transfer to Wolfsburg
    • 7–9:30 p.m. – Dinner at Altes Brauhaus zu Fallersleben, a Bavarian-style restaurant
  • Wolfsburg → Hanover → Wolfsburg

    • 7:30 a.m. – Breakfast
    • 8 a.m. – Depart for Hanover Messe Showgrounds and a full day at EuroTier 2026
    • Lunch on your own at the fairgrounds
    • 5:30 p.m. – Return to Wolfsburg

  • Wolfsburg → Hanover → Amsterdam

    • 7:30 a.m. – Breakfast
    • 8 a.m. – Depart for Hanover Messe Showgrounds
    • 9 a.m.–12:45 p.m. – EuroTier 2026 visit
    • 1 p.m. – Transfer to Amsterdam (approx. 5.5 hours)
    • 6:30 p.m. – Hostel check-in
    • 7:15 p.m. – Meet in lobby
    • 7:30 p.m. – Amsterdam Canal Dinner Cruise
    • 9:30 p.m. – Return to hostel

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All Olds College students enrolled in the 2026-27 school year are eligible to take part in this trip, including new students starting in the fall as well as returning students.

    There are no restrictions on which program of study you must be in; however, your Dean and instructors must be notified that you will be absent from classes.

  • The cost of your trip includes all travel expenses, tours and your entrance to EuroTier. At least one meal a day has been included in the cost of your trip. For meals that are not included, the student will be responsible for paying for their own meals.

  • While a pricing structure is in place, final pricing will be determined by the number of attendees. Further, the College actively seeks sponsorship opportunities when available to help reduce costs for students, which will be reflected in the final price. Students are also encouraged to seek out private sponsorship to assist.

  • Yes, the students will be accompanied by faculty members to ensure a safe trip for all.
