Olds College is pleased to welcome Todd Ormann to the role of Associate Vice President, Industry Solutions and Partnerships. The new role will provide critical leadership in the engagement of external partners, customers, sponsors and supporters with a focus on generating value-added services, investments and earned revenue through continuing education and corporate training, applied research, technology demonstration and validation, sponsorships, and philanthropic partnerships.

Together with our leadership team, Todd will build upon key assets within the Olds College Smart Ag Ecosystem and strengthen our relationships to key stakeholders.”
Named in the Top 50 most influential people in Canadian Agriculture by Canadian Western Agribition (CWA), Ormann comes to Olds College from TELUS Agriculture where he was Director, TELUS Ag IoT Solutions. Prior to that role, Ormann was TELUS’s first “agricultural” hire and helped develop the new business unit TELUS Agriculture. He also brings extensive leadership experience from positions held at Farmers Edge, UFA and Syngenta.

Born and raised on a dryland farm in the Foremost region, Todd holds a Master of Science from the University of Guelph with a major in Agricultural Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lethbridge (Economics Major). Ormann begins at Olds College on March 1, 2022.
