Olds College Broncos women’s soccer midfielder Greta Riemenschneider has been named to the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) All-Conference Team following an impressive 2026 season.
Originally from Germany, Riemenschneider earned recognition as one of the conference’s top midfielders for her skill, dedication and contributions to the Broncos athletics.
Riemenschneider started all 12 games during the season, recording five goals, five assists and 20 shots. Her ability to create scoring opportunities, contribute offensively and maintain a strong presence in the midfield made her a valuable member of the Broncos throughout the season.
All-Conference selections are determined by coaches across the ACAC, recognizing athletes for their individual performance, skill and contributions to their respective teams.
Broncos head coach Rob Kelly recognized Riemenschneider’s dedication and the impact she made on the team throughout the season.
“Greta has been an important part of our team this season,” says Kelly. “Her work ethic, skill and ability to contribute both offensively and defensively have made a real difference on the field. This recognition is well deserved and reflects the dedication she brings to the team every day.”
For Riemenschneider, who travelled from Germany to pursue her education and athletic career at Olds College, being part of the Broncos has been a meaningful experience both on and off the field.
“Playing for the Olds College Broncos has been such a special experience for me,” says Riemenschneider. “Coming from Germany, I have found a second home here. I love being part of this team, and I am so grateful for my teammates and coaches who have supported me along the way. Receiving this recognition means a lot, and I am proud to represent the Broncos.”
Riemenschneider’s All-Conference selection highlights the talent and dedication within the Broncos women’s soccer program and recognizes her accomplishments throughout the 2026 season.
As the Broncos look ahead to the next season, this recognition provides another opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Olds College student-athletes and their continued commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
