On Feb. 25, 2026, Olds College of Agriculture & Technology welcomed 75 employers and over 400 students to the Alumni Centre and Learning Commons (library) to meet, greet and connect with students to talk about future prospects, job and volunteer opportunities and provide insight into their respective industries.
Filling every corner of the event space, this Career Fair was the largest yet that the Olds College Career Services has hosted. It included representatives from industries directly related to College programs, such as the agriculture sector, community services, trades and environmental sectors. Including premium employer sponsors:
“The Career Fair is part of the College’s ongoing commitment to connecting students with industry and supporting successful career outcomes,” says Olds College Work Integrated Learning Coordinator and Career Fair organizer, Karen Correa. “Career Services continues to create opportunities for students to engage with industry through events, info sessions and employer partnerships throughout the year.”
Employers shared their enthusiasm in connecting with Olds College students, and highlighted how well prepared students were, bringing great questions and engaging discussions. Additionally, all employers who attended this event also shared their positions on CareerConnect – Olds College career platform, which connects industry professionals and opportunities with students and alumni.
