This online course is for individuals who are interested in gaining further confidence in the area of small animal dentistry, with a focus on COHATs, oral anatomy and dental instruments used in small animal dentistry. This four-hour course can be counted towards CPD credit with Alberta Veterinary Medical Association (ABVMA) and ABVTA.

Small Animal Anesthesia Refresher
This online course is for individuals who are interested in gaining further confidence in the area of anesthesia technology, with a focus on administering, preparing and responding to changes in small animals. This nine-hour course can be counted towards CEU credit with Alberta Veterinary Medical Association (ABVMA) and ABVTA.

Hands-Free Radiology Techniques Refresher
In this online asynchronous course, you will gain further knowledge in the aims and goals of hands-free radiology, the benefits of it, implementation and different hands-free techniques to ensure quality diagnostic x-rays. This three-hour course is one of a series of courses offered as a microcredential continuing education credit for RVTs by Olds College.

- Identify the principles of triage and its role in small animal emergency medicine.
- Recognize common emergency conditions and diseases including clinical signs and symptoms.
- List common small animal toxicities and how they are treated.
- Complete calculations for constant rate infusions, medication dilutions and fluid bag additives.
- Perform effective CPR on feline and canine patients.
- Explain how to perform blood and plasma transfusions on feline and canine patients.
- Recognize common nursing procedures for the debilitated patient.
