Hannah Gosior B.A.Sc.

Research Technician

Bio

Hannah is a Research Technician for the TACLP and works primarily with College’s cattle herd. Hannah grew up on a cow-calf and grain farming operation near Viking, Alta, where her passion for agriculture and livestock first began.

Hannah is a graduate of Olds College of Agriculture & Technology, where she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agribusiness and a diploma in Agriculture Management, majoring in Production. As part of her degree program, she completed an eight-month Directed Field Study with TELUS Agriculture as a cattle research intern — an experience that extended beyond the academic requirement and further solidified her passion for the field.

Hannah’s favourite part about her job is the hands-on work, being outside and getting her hands dirty. She loves to contribute to the advancement of the livestock industry through the research conducted at the College. In her current role she values the opportunity to continuously learn from the ongoing research projects and her colleagues.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys listening to podcasts and reading articles on production management, regenerative agriculture and agribusiness. She also enjoys helping out on the family farm whenever possible and spending quality time with her family and friends.
