Ken Miller leads the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) department and brings an operations-focused approach to the applied research team. His expertise is built on a strong foundation in supply-chain logistics, field operations and safety leadership. Ken’s career is diverse: he currently serves as Manager, Projects at Olds College (2024–Present), following his role as Manager, Smart Farm Operations (2020–2024), along with prior experience in the energy industry.
As an Olds College alumni, Ken holds a Diploma in Agriculture Business (1999). As well as a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge (2005) and a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation from Supply Chain Canada (2014).
Ken is known for championing continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, enhancing organizational transparency and approaching future planning with a strategic, forward-focused mindset.
