Dr. Nasima Junejo is a Research Grant Facilitator at Olds College, bringing over 12 years of experience in agriculture within the Canadian prairies. Her expertise extends beyond research and project management to include significant experience as a grant writer. Dr. Junejo has successfully secured funding for numerous projects and has also served as a funder representative on cross-province, multi-team funding streams, giving her a unique perspective on the grant process.
Dr. Junejo's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Agriculture Soil Science, a master’s degree in economics, and Post-Doctorate from the University of Alberta. She is a registered Professional Agrologist with the Alberta Institute of Agrologists.
Her career has encompassed various roles, including Research Agronomist, Agrologist, Coordinator, Research Director, and Data Specialist. Dr. Junejo has also contributed to the scientific community as a Technical Editor for a peer-reviewed journal. These experiences have honed her skills in research, project management, program management, and technical writing.
Dr. Junejo also provides consulting services, specializing in small plot and field-scale research, grant and proposal writing, report writing, and peer review of scholarly articles, research proposals, and research articles. As a certified 4R Nutrient Management Specialist, she is dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Dr. Junejo's diverse experience, particularly her expertise in grant writing and funding processes, makes her an asset to Olds College.
