The School of Life Science & Business at Olds College of Agriculture and Technology is proud to announce the grand opening of its new student space, thanks to the generous contribution of a $20,000 grant from the CPA Education Foundation of Alberta. The grant is providing students studying at the School of Life Science & Business with access to increased technology and collaborative workspace, enhancing the curriculum and their learning experience.
The new space caters to the needs of business students, offering a unique learning experience that combines practical learning with modern technology. The Dean of the School of Life Science & Business, Dalin Bullock, hosted a successful open house to celebrate the grand opening of the new space, and to thank the Foundation for their contribution.
"We are extremely grateful for the generosity of the CPA Education Foundation," said Bullock. "This grant has empowered us to create a captivating and dynamic learning environment that fosters creativity and collaboration, empowering our students to thrive in their future careers in the world of business."
The CPA Education Foundation is committed to improving access to business education for students in smaller communities in Alberta. This grant is a testament to their commitment, and honours the legacy of Brian Hesje FCPA, FCA, an inspirational leader who championed business education in smaller communities.
"The Foundation plays a vital role in the education sector in Alberta, and we are fortunate to have their support," said Bullock. "This grant is yet another example of their commitment to educational excellence across the province."
The grand opening of the new student space is just one example of Olds College's commitment to offering cutting-edge education and providing students with the tools they need to succeed.
