Olds College Centre for Innovation (OCCI) is collaborating with SimpleHedge to assess its hedging software. SimpleHedge is an iOS application focused on creating an interface that helps farmers easily hedge their crops. The software allows for financial management of tradable commodities like wheat and canola.
From SimpleHedge’s perspective, the goal of the application is for producers to comfortably use the software to market crops. In addition to OCCI employees evaluating the software, producers will also provide feedback.
