All Alberta sales outlets selling Domestic Class Lawn and Garden Pesticides must employ a certified dispenser. This certification ensures customers have access to accurate pest control information and that retailers meet provincial regulations and safety requirements.
Certificates are valid for five years and apply to most outdoor lawn and garden pesticides. Products designed for people, pets, or indoor use (such as repellents, flea collars, or shampoos) are not included in this requirement.
