In addition, students will differentiate between the positive and negative attributes that are associated with chemical versus biological pest management.
In this microcredential, students will examine the various biological and non-biological stressors that impact the performance of Cannabis in the growing space.
Students will describe the rationale behind the continued but restricted use of chemical pesticides in the cultivation of Cannabis. Students will also review the criteria that are associated with residue testing and their impacts on yield and harvested product quality.
Students will appraise the benefits, drawbacks and utility associated with the implementation of a biological pest management program in Cannabis production.
