The Werklund Agriculture and Technology Centre features 3,000 s.m. of technology focused learning space, including a lecture theatre, three large hands-on ag-tech labs, collaboration and group areas for students, as well as a student commons space located in the heart of the building.
This building houses the Werklund School of Agriculture Technology along with open concept learning spaces, offices and classrooms. Thanks to the funding from David Werklund, Foothills Landscaping, Mountain View County and the Students’ Association of Olds College, the Werklund Agriculture and Technology Centre transformations will support new technology programming and future growth at Olds College.
Fostering high-tech and innovative learning environments, the Werklund Agriculture and Technology Centre encourages active learning and innovative drive for our students. The new specialized learning facility enhances students’ education and helps prepare them to work in their desired industries. The Werklund Agriculture and Technology Centre enhances the physical learning environments for students by including adaptable space for current and future technology integration.
